Automating Cloud Security and Usage Optimization with Cloud Custodian

Add to calendar

As your company moves into the cloud, you’ll likely see two disturbing trends: Teams often make poor decisions with things like security groups and tagging, and they frequently forget to clean up unused resources. These two problems mount slowly and end up being a significant drain on time and money. You could manually optimize resource usage and close obvious security holes—or you can use Cloud Custodian to automate it. Join Lee Eason for a hands-on workshop where you will set up Cloud Custodian in AWS and configure policies that automate some best practices for cost controls and security. He’ll teach the fundamentals as well as how to scale your Cloud Custodian to hundreds of AWS accounts. You will gain skills to start building your own policies and take your automation even further.
