Agile + DevOps East 2021 Concurrent Session : You Are Not Your Tech, You Are Not Your User

Wednesday, November 17, 2021 - 11:45am to 12:45pm

You Are Not Your Tech, You Are Not Your User

How can you learn to think about all users while creating your product? Find out how empathy affects your product, how your team influences code and user experience, and how we sometimes marginalize users accidentally because of how we perceive the world. The phrase, “you are not your user”, is an encompassing reminder that we are not the same people we create products for and need to be mindful how we create tech. Come learn about how integral you are to how tech affects the world and how much power you hold when it comes to including people in your product user base. Grow your knowledge in developer empathy for the user and where to go from here.
